John A. Sperrazza became the owner of TheatreMax in 2009. He looks forward to continuing the TheatreMax business with the professional high standards that the company has always followed. Since 1989, John has been the owner Advanced Alarm, Inc. and has been dedicated to providing quality products and services to Western New York families and businesses. In Memoriam for Jim Pici (September 8, 2009)
Jim has been involved in the audio/video business most of his adult life. Jim’s roots start back in the 1970s as a live sound engineer for local bands such as “Big Wheelie and the Hubcaps”. He acquired his own production company providing major concert sound and lighting systems for promoters such as “Harvey & Corky”. Eventually this was sold and he formed a new company to take advantage of the growing commercial Sound, Lighting and Video installation business. Within a short period of time Jim gained the reputation of being the Top Sales & Installation Contractor for Nightclubs, Restaurants, Stadiums, Houses of Worship and other commercial venues. Ultimately the emerging home market caught his attention and “Theatremax” was conceived. “We started installing A/V systems in homes before Home Theater was even a term”. Clients, many of whom were Jim’s commercial customers were asking for entertainment systems for their homes similar to the ones in their clubs or meeting rooms. Jim’s uncompromising passion to provide the best gear, expert installation and customer service, combined with over 30 years experience in Sound and Video installation has made him the “Go to Guy” for the best designed, most innovative and highest quality Residential and Commercial audio, video, home/office automation and video security systems. We will miss Jim very much.
